Make-up tips
Even if you feel older than you are, you don't have to look so! Instead, take advantage of these great makeup tips that can reinforce what Mother Nature has already given you and make a few years disappear from the appearance of your face!
Make-up with a yellow tint
What? You don't want to look yellow, do you? The good news is that yellow-tinted makeup doesn't really make you look yellow.
In reality, it only adds a little warmth to your skin, which you might need if your face ages. Instead of looking haggard, you'll look like you're having a little sparkle!
Bone structure
As we get older, we often lose some of the specificity of the characteristics we once had. But the good news is that we can learn to highlight the benefits we have by accentuating our bone structure.
Try a little bronzer or blush to focus on a chiseled jaw or strong cheekbones.
Night Cream
The only time you don't need sunscreen is when you sleep. Use a different moisturizer for the night, a super creamy moisturizer.
This one doesn't need to be applied under your makeup, so it can be very generous to your skin. Of course, you should wash it in the morning before starting your daily care program again.
Drop the dry powder
Moisture, humidity, humidity! The key to looking younger is to play on what your skin needs, that is.... hydration. If you needed a dry powder to absorb excess sebum when you were younger, it only serves to fill the crevices and make you look older.
Instead, opt for a liquid foundation with a powdered finish to make your skin look supple and air-ographic.
Eye shadow base
If you have even a hint of squinting or sagging eyelids, your eyeshadow can accentuate this by falling into the cracks. This can be avoided by using an eye shadow base.
This layer of cream will allow you to obtain a blank palette on which you can apply your eye shadow without giving it a drooling appearance or create larger cracks and crevices.
Soften the eyeliner
If you've always used black kohl eyeliner, it may be time to reassess this decision. The harsh reality is that you have to accentuate without being too harsh.
Instead of black, try a creamy brown eyeliner that gives a softer, more natural look while bringing out your eyes.
Always use a concealer
Sometimes dark circles under the eyes cannot be covered by your usual makeup. Before applying your makeup, opt for a concealer that is just one or two shades lighter than your foundation.
This will help you compensate for the darkness under your eyes and balance your complexion.
Moisten your sponge
Thick make-up can build up in fine lines and wrinkles, making them look even bigger than they originally were. Instead, try applying your foundation with a damp sponge. This will slightly dilute the make-up and give it a more translucent appearance than that of a painting.
The translucent appearance will give radiance to your skin and increase your youthful appearance.
Avoid painted eyebrows
The more you paint, the less natural you appear, and it's not necessarily good for a more mature woman. Too dark eyebrows will create a hard look that will only accentuate an older look.
Instead, try softness and more natural colors to reduce hardness and keep a younger look.
Eyes have a hard life
Even if you've never used an eyelash curler before, this may be the time. It will allow you to open your eyes by drawing the eyelashes and making your eyes look bigger.
Use a brown mascara (again, not black) with a soft hand to promote this wide look.
Go natural
Whatever you do in your makeup regimen, do your best to keep it natural. Even if you're struggling with aging, you want to look like you're aging gracefully rather than looking like you're doing too much.
Learn to love the beauty that years have brought you and use your beauty regime to complement what you already have.
